Golden China Buffet in Whitehouse

We LOVE this place. Great variety of food. Always fresh and the prices are great. The owners are so nice and the staff is attentive and nice. We visit almost weekly for our "date night" of take out and a movie and Will continue to, we love it!

One of my favorite spots for delicious chinese food. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was fair I would say. If it was closer to my home I would be here often.

Omg their fried dumpling are so good. And shrimp fried rice is never over cooked or dry like most places who serve this dish. The staff are very very friendly and always willing to help any way they can. Lots of love Golden China BuffetAnnita

Excellent food temp, presentation top shelf, flavor of everything I tried was best I have had in a 125 mile radius. Service just as good, exceptionally well enjoyed by myself (& lm dang picky) . The only thing that I didn't care for was the fried calamari, which I will eat first every time. Just a tad salty and cut in strips, which explains the salt ratio to meat. This was cut into strips but I prefer larger cuts with lighter crust. Already planning my next meal their, this is a no miss great restaurant!!!

Golden China Buffet is one of our favorite places to eat. We bring friends and family here because we know it will be great Chinese food at a very reasonable price. The food is always fresh and a great variety.

I do not have a lot of expectation when I comes to Chinese buffets. The reason is because you see one and try the rest are the same. So coming to this I had an idea of what to expect. So let's get the price out of the way. I went at lunch time and the total cost was $8.60 for the buffet. So the place was very clean inside and was impressed. The waiters were nice kept refilling my water and taking my finished plates. They did have a few items that I never seen at a Chinese buffet like bourbon chicken, pork tamales, and rice noodles. They did have sushi, ice cream and desserts as well. The food was ok and the price was fine. I would I come back maybe if I was around the area but I do not travel that way so it might be a while.

$9 of all you can eat with seafood, sushi, fruits, ice cream...... what do cheap people expect to have? A king service? A $50 worth of meals in Whitehouse Texas?

There was a roach cooked into my food. Zangu, the chef who was performing sacred rituals in the kitchen, slapped me with a spoon and told me to not spit his food out. I ate the roach, then left this establishment. It was very exciting, so I think I will come back. I found a spider in my fortune cookie, and bit me on my tongue and now I can’t talk. Definitely exciting!April fools

This is a great buffet. They have great food and great service and the egg rolls are a must try best I've had in a while plus there wasn't much wait time or much of a crowd. Plus the prices isn't bad either

I eat here often and enjoy it but tonight I came in, got seated, went to the buffet, i use 2 plates because I don't like veggies/meat touching walking back to my table my waiter passes andunder his breath comments on the amount of food I have...I know somesomeone who isn't getting a tip...js

This is the first time I've eaten there I will be going back with my husband their food was hot fresh and really good the sushi was good I have no complaints about this at all as the five star show lol

Best Chinese buffet in the Tyler area. And they've recently done a remodel, so there's more sushi and more seating.

This spot has amazing service and delightful menu. My favourite place in town. The food and drinks came out quick and the rates are affordable. Will definitely recommend this place.

The staff was super nice, friendly, and the restaurant was fairly clean. Unfortunately, my good experience ended there. As I walked around the very small selection of food, you could see that most of it had been sitting there for more than a couple hours. The sauce on the beef and broccoli had burnt on to the beef and broccoli. The bourbon chicken sauce and started to separate and congeal. The donuts were hard as rocks. And that's only a few examples of how poor the food looked. As you can imagine, the taste was about the same, if not worse. I'll save you the gross details and just say I'd go elsewhere, even if it means driving into Tyler.
